2023/2024 Academic Session Back to School Prayers from the Desk of School Proprietress
Heavenly father, we thank you for our children at IVIS. As the new school year begins, we humbly lay them at your feet.
We ask for your presence to be with every student, teacher and staff member as they embark on this new school year.
Lord, we pray for safety within the school walls. Protect students and staff from every hurt, harm, danger, scheme and plot of the enemy.
Satan, we rebuke you in the mighty name of Jesus!
Lord, we ask you to dispatch your angels around school premises as our children come and go from day to day.
Heavenly father, grant wisdom to educators as they guide and inspire young minds.
Bless them with patience, understanding and a heart of compassion for each pupil and student.
Father, we lift up the pupils and students to you. Be their source of strength and courage as they face challenges, embrace new subjects and interact with fellow classmates. Grant them the ability to focus, absorb information and apply it to their lives.
Help them to persevere in the face of difficulties and to celebrate their achievements; both big and small.
We also pray for the families of these students. Give parents and guardians wisdom as they support and encourage their children in their academic pursuits.
May their homes be filled with an atmosphere of love, understanding and a spirit of teamwork in the journey of education.
Above all father, we ask for your guidance and your presence to be evident in every classroom.
May your love shine through the words spoken, the lessons taught and the relationships formed.
Help students to see learning as an opportunity to discover more about your incredible creations and their unique gifts.
As this new school year unfolds next week Monday, we entrust each pupil and student and educator into your capable hands. We pray for a year filled with growth, laughter and your peace.
