Learning is never-ending, be it science, math, or general knowledge. Having kids take part in general knowledge or as we like to call it here current affairs makes it enjoyable and fun for them. Sports, politics, basic science experience, celebrities, etc. are some of the few general topics that can be introduced to kids to give them a strong foundation. Once a child gets interested in any piece of information, they are curious to know more about such topic.

There are numerous GK quizzes and competitions that have achieved popularity – these events help test a student’s knowledge and skills. With some practice tests, a kid can do well in such contests. Not to miss, what adds real value to learning is exposure and experience of different general knowledge areas. For instance, a question about a notable date comes in a practice test, it may help your child get the date correct, but the real value is only when he/she understands the significance of the day. This knowledge comes from learning beyond academics.
