Clean Up Lugbe: Premiere Academy Inspires Community to Take Action for a Cleaner Environment

In an awe-inspiring display of unity, and dedication to impacting our host community, Premiere Academy embarked on its regular community service themed: “Clean Up Lugbe, Clean Environment, Healthy People.” The clean-up exercise showcased the unwavering commitment of our students, and staff to environmental sustainability.

As the sun rose, and cast its warm rays upon the Police Signboard area of the Lugbe community, a collective purpose bound us together—to create a cleaner and healthier environment that would benefit everyone. The sight of our staff and students resolute in action embodied the very essence of Premiere Academy’s mission of fostering a strong sense of community and responsibility. This remarkable community clean-up exercise served as a testament to the incredible power of collaboration, togetherness, consciousness, and teamwork at Premiere Academy.

With gloves, trash bags, and an unwavering desire to make a difference, our students eagerly participated in this noble endeavour by cleaning littered areas, clearing debris, and eventually giving the Police Signboard Area of Lugbe Community a facelift. The result of the community service was not only a physical transformation of the landscape but also the cultivation of camaraderie and a shared sense of purpose within our Premiere Academy Community of High Achievers.

Beyond the immediate impact on the environment, the clean-up exercise served as an avenue for continually educating our students, staff members, and our host community about the significance of environmental stewardship, promoting health and well-being, and inspiring them to become lifelong advocates for sustainable living. By engaging our students in hands-on activities of cleaning the environment, they witnessed firsthand the positive impact that their actions can have on the environment and the community. This experience sparked a sense of ownership and responsibility, empowering them to become lifetime advocates for sustainable living.

Premiere Academy aims to extend the ripple effect of a clean environment far beyond our immediate community. We aspire to inspire others to join our mission, amplifying the impact and fostering a collective commitment to a better and cleaner environment for all.

We firmly believe that small actions, when united, yield significant change. Thus, we pledge to continue organizing similar initiatives, collaborating with local organizations, integrating environmental education into our curriculum, and equipping our students with the knowledge and skills needed to be lifelong champions of a clean, and healthier environment.

We believe that every child has the potential to succeed at Premiere Academy and our Entrance Examination is the first step in unlocking that potential. Our Entrance Examination for the 2023/2024 academic session is on Saturday 1st July 2023.
