LAGOOZ SCHOOL WELCOMES BACK ITS STUDENTS AFTER CLOSURE OF SCHOOLS DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC
In line with the directive of the Lagos State Government, Lagooz School welcomed back other categories of its students (except for nursery school pupils) physically to the school on 21st September, 2020 after a long holiday occasioned by the closure of schools by the Federal Government as a result of the COVID -19 pandemic. You would recall that students in exit classes such as SSS3 & JSS3 had resumed earlier to take part in their external examinations such as WAEC conducted West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) & NECO conducted Basic Examination Certificate Examination(BECE) respectively while other students continued their remote learning.
The management of the school, while welcoming the returnee students back to the school premises ensured that the Lagos State Government recommended COVID -19 safety protocols were fully complied with by the students, staff and visitors to the school.
It should be noted that the management of Lagooz School through the PTA meeting held recently had also acquainted the school parents/ guardians with the school's COVID-19 safety protocols which earlier got a clean bill of health from the Lagos State Government COVID-19 Safety Protocols Monitoring Team to ensure the safety of students, staff & visitors to the school.
Meanwhile, academic activities have commenced in earnest in Lagooz Schools while the management would like to wish its students and other students in the country a safe academic session.
Signed.
