We believe in nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit in our students and equipping them with the necessary skills for success at Premiere Academy. On June 17th, 2023, our school came alive with the vibrant energy of our students as we hosted the highly anticipated Trade Fair. Under the theme “Young Entrepreneurs Cultivating Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship,” this event provided a platform for our students to showcase their creativity, entrepreneurial skills, and innovation.
The trade fair was exciting and entertaining as students discovered their hidden natural flair for entrepreneurship, which signified a new milestone in their educational journey. It showcased the incredible talents and potential of our students. From the moment you entered the fairgrounds, parents, students, and invited guests were greeted by a diverse array of vendors and exhibitors, each proudly presenting their unique products or services. It was truly awe-inspiring to witness the level of creativity, innovation, and passion that our young entrepreneurs poured into their ventures. From handmade crafts to tech startups, the Trade Fair showcased the limitless potential of our students and their ability to turn ideas into reality.
The event was more than just a showcase of products but an immersive learning experience. Our students were actively involved in every aspect of their entrepreneurial journey, from market research and product development to pricing strategies and advertising. They were required to think critically, solve problems on the go and make informed business decisions. This hands-on approach allowed them to develop essential skills in communication, negotiation, and adaptability – skills that will prove invaluable in their future.
One of the key objectives of the Trade Fair was to cultivate financial literacy among our students. We firmly believe that understanding the principles of finance and economics is essential for success in the modern world. Through their participation in the Trade Fair, they gained practical knowledge about budgeting, profit margins, and managing expenses. They learned the importance of setting prices, calculating profits, and making wise financial decisions. By immersing themselves in the world of entrepreneurship, they developed a deep appreciation for the value of money and the power of financial responsibility.
The Trade Fair served as a catalyst for personal growth and development. It provided a platform for our students to step out of their comfort zones, interact with customers, and showcase their products or services with confidence. The experience of presenting and selling their creations instilled a sense of pride and accomplishment in our young entrepreneurs. These skills will undoubtedly contribute to their personal and professional growth as they navigate the path to success.
In an increasingly competitive world, it is crucial to equip our students with the skills and mindset needed to thrive. The Trade Fair was a stepping stone toward that goal. By providing our students with an authentic entrepreneurial experience, we prepared them for the challenges and opportunities that are ahead. Premiere Academy’s 2023 Trade Fair showcased the very essence of Premiere Academy; a place where dreams are nurtured, skills are honed and students are empowered to become the leaders and innovators of tomorrow.
We believe that every child has the potential to succeed at Premiere Academy and our Entrance Examination is the first step in unlocking that potential. Our Entrance Examination for the 2023/2024 academic session is on Saturday 1st July 2023.
