5 Practical Ways of Combining Traditional and Digital Marketing

The use of both Traditional and Digital Marketing methods is known as Integrated Marketing. The reason why this combination exists is because of the various medium used by different parents when looking for schools. I know you might have then asked severally, how do you combine these two methods of marketing when carrying out a strategy? Here are 5 practical ways to implement Integrated Marketing in your strategy.

1.   Combine Digital Content and Print Media

This is the most applicable in the sense that most people indeed use smartphones. This however does not eliminate the fact that print media like newspapers is still being used in their daily life. Therefore, if you publish an advertisement in a newspaper, then make sure to add your site. Just add the link to your site, social media platform, or a QR code.

2.   Video Ad for both TV and Online Platforms

Remember watching your favorite ad on television? Well, you still watch ads on television screens. Thus, ensure to exhibit these ads on online applications too. Doing so will make your brand reach people on a large scale. For instance: online can be targeted at the millennial parent, whereas TV can grab old-fashion parent’s attention.

3.   Advertise your events on the internet

Social media and websites are excellent platforms for promoting local events. You can create a unique and relevant event page on Facebook and let people join your community. Keep it up to date with the event details, including pictures, videos, time, etc.

4.   Use Billboards to Promote Online Channels

It is somehow evident that properly placed billboards are good at driving people’s attention. So, why not include your digital activities in this Traditional Marketing form to add an extra gain to the campaign. Display your email campaigns, blogs, pictures, or even videos on the billboards and see how exceptionally it works.

5.   Streaming of the Radio Ads

Another perfect way of merging digital media and traditional media is podcast advertising. Do not forget that people still listen to radios at peak timing while driving or resting.
